Crystal-clear couture. Designer Erik Frenken deconstructs iconic menswear – tuxedo, trench coat, men’s shirt – and transforms them into powerful couture for women. Pushing detail and functionality to their limits leads to unexpected shapes and versatile designs. The SS23 collection has been inspired by the dazzling shine of Swarovski crystals and diamonds, their clear-cut angularity offset with elastic stitching, gathering and smocking for a feminine touch. The lookbook designed by Alt8 stresses the characteristic cool elegance and the deliberate imperfections of Frenken’s timeless collection.

Door functionaliteit en detail tot het uiterste te voeren, ontstaan onverwachte vormen en veelzijdige ontwerpen. De collectie SS21 is geïnspireerd door de oogverblindende glans van Swarovski kristal en diamanten. Hun scherp-gesneden hoekigheid wordt gecontrasteerd met elastisch stiksel, plooien en smokwerk voor een vrouwelijk accent. Het door Alt8 vormgegeven lookbook benadrukt de kenmerkende coole elegantie en de bewuste imperfecties van Frenkens tijdloze collectie.
