Free the Future. Due to the corona crisis, the 2020 graduates of Academie Artemis presented their work in an online only Graduation Show: Free the Future. Concerned about the current state of the world, they urgently plea to build a better future together. The dynamic website Alt8 created to showcase their 100+ proposals and solutions draws in the visitor with gritty visuals reminiscent of Punk’s ‘no future’ snub of good taste and aesthetics, inviting them to explore through engaging navigation features. Variations in each graduate’s presentation ensure a sense of individual identity within a pressing collective appeal.
Free the future. Door de coronacrisis presenteerden de designers die in 2020 afstudeerden van Academie Artemis hun werk in een online only Graduation Show: Free the Future. Bezorgd over de toestand van de wereld roepen de afstudeerders nadrukkelijk op om samen aan een betere toekomst te bouwen. De dynamische website die Alt8 creëerde hun 100+ voorstellen en oplossingen te tonen, neemt de bezoekers mee met rauwe visuals die doen denken aan het ‘no future’ waarmee Punk de goede smaak en esthetiek te lijf ging, en nodigt ze uit tot verder ontdekken door een aansprekende navigatie.
